More than 2,700 international students choose to study at DMU every year, on a range of courses designed to give them the skills and experience that global employers need. We have four faculties, offering more than 300 courses at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Research courses

More than 60 per cent of our research is international quality and we have internationally acknowledged research groups in cybersecurity, transport, energy, water, advanced manufacturing and creative industries. See a full list of of our research areas. 

English language courses

Students can study and improve their English language skills through DMU's Centre for English Language Learning. Students who are required to have a certain IELTS level to be accepted onto their course at DMU can enrol onto a pre-sessional course, which is an intensive English language course that can be taken in the summer before starting your degree. Depending on your level of English, pre-sessional courses are 4, 8 and 13 weeks in duration.
